- Master thesis (Masterarbeit): I am actively looking for motivated master students for thesis work on DNN-based spatial filtering or spatial audio coding (e.g., end-to-end beamforming/spatial filtering networks, learned spatial representations, neural codecs for immersive or multichannel audio). Topics can be tailored to your background in signal processing, machine learning, or speech/audio. Interested? Research Interests
- Speech enhancement using multiple microphones, including beamforming, dereverberation, acoustic echo cancellation.
- Deep learning for spatial audio filtering and coding.
- Adaptive filtering for echo cancellation and dereverberation.
- Sound source localization.
